Each post has three parts to it:

1. A completed card
2. A card with just a name, mana cost, and types
3. A card name.

You add the rules text to the previous poster's #2 card (= name/cost/types) to get a completed card, attach a mana cost and types to the previous poster's #1 card (= name only), and then submit your own new name.
