Finally got the last chapter of this up. Esther was born on Ravnica and joined the Senate as an arrester. A mission gone wrong sent her to Tarkir, where she learned the ways of the Ojutai clan and began studying mind magic. Now she's back at home with a new job and a genius wife and everything figured out. Or she would be, if her adventures on Bant had not come back to haunt her.

Ravnican domestic comedy set just post-Amonkhet block (or during Guilds of Ravnica); hurt/comfort with emphasis on comfort.
