The plan is to Loam yourself a ton of lands every turn with cyclers, then use Journey to the Oracle to vomit them into play. Once that's done you can go infinite turns either via the tri-land infinite turns combo, or basic b mode with nexus of fate, which also works if somehow a land gets exiled by a wanker.
So let's see, if you have a good cycler, loam costs 3 mana to get +2 cards to hand. So let's say you've got 10 lands, which is probably pretty typical for turn 5 with this deck since you'll always play journey on 4. Loam Loam Journey = play 4 more lands, then Loam one more time with that 4 mana. On the next turn, you've still got 2 lands in hand (I'm kind of ignoring draw since it cancels with the discard from journey) and 14 lands. Loam loam loam journey = 8 more lands, loam loam land for turn, ending with 3 cards in hand and 23 lands in play. Next turn loam loam loam loam loam loam journey = 15 more lands, loam loam loam loam play a land journey = 7 more lands, loam loam, ending with 45 lands and 3 cards in hand I think....this is turn 7 btw. On turn 8, you play a land and then loam loam loam loam loam loam loam loam loam loam loam loam loam loam oops we're out of cards in deck, so I guess we probably win with nexus of fate or whatever.
So yeah deterministic wins on turn 8 I think? Ofc you gotta mulligan hard for that Loam or you're SoL. Pitch your other tutors to Journey, or use them to get nexus of fate.
So yeah this is probably pretty stupid.
wooooahhhh, we're halfway there...
