hey, I have been working a bit on both the UW and UW version of Delver that AspiringSpike has been playing on twitch. Both of them feel really strong but also each is lacking in a area the other one isn't.
The UW version has a very strong midrange game thanks to SFM and can pivot into practically full powered (arguably even better than regular) UW control post board in matchups where delver is bad (mainly Bolt/Push based midrange / control)
It does however lack reach and is thus slower and weaker in tearms of it's tempo plan. Also path to exile, es great of a card as it is in long games, is not a particularily well positioned removal spell right now as there are many must kill creatures that come down in turns 1-3.

With that in mind and considering the way Spike's manabases look anyway to support Archmage's Charm and Mystic Sanctuary (8-9 fetch, 4 Shocks, 2 Sanctuary and rest islands), I came to the conclusion that it should be relativly free to move from either of those 2 colour lists into Jeskai.
Here is the list i have been testing:

That approach is quite different to the other lists here as it's much more closer to mono blue delver splashing W and R but I strongly believe that the success of delver is tied to maximizing Archmage's Charm and Force of Negation.

This deck looks sweet! I love watching AspiringSpike. He used to play awesome modern decks. Now he pretty much only streams Pioneer so I haven't been watching as much, but I assume he will play a little modern in the future as the Pioneer fever dies down a bit.

I think you are right about the third color. As long as you avoid the WR cards like helix then adding red as a splash color is basically free. I may look into that more myself.

I honestly can't see anything I would really change in the list. This looks like a really solid list. I really want to maximize Archmage's Charm too, but my deck has too much white and red in it so I can't reliably cast it on turn three. Therefore, I took a bit more of a burn strategy. I do feel like Force of Negation single handily let delver become a playable archetype again. The card is just extremely good in a tempo or aggro-control build. I am really interested in how your deck plays. It looks really cool. Thanks for sharing and keep us posted.

Hi all. I have been trying a bit of a different list lately so I wanted to share it with all of you. I really wanted to give Archmage's Charm a try so I had to do a little rebuild of my deck to be able to play a UUU. Here is the list I am playing

The cards I am currently questioning are whether they should be cut/changed are Royal Scions, Serum Visions, and possibly Remand. I would like to have another early threat to be honest, but I'm not sure it exists yet. Hopefully we get another Delver-esque card at some point.

I have another izzet prowess build that I am going to try with reveler and swiftspear in it that I am exited about too and a wizards list. I will share those lists as well. Pioneer is kind of overshadowing modern right now, but it's a good time to brew and finalize lists for upcoming modern events.

I will keep you all posted.

Well with the current meta we are in great shape. I have been really enjoying my list lately. I will share it shortly, but wanted to see how everyone else was doing. It's been awhile since I have posted given the holiday season.

Another card in the deck I wanted to talk about is Abrade. I think it's a great one of in the maindeck right now given the current meta. What do you all think?
