I felt the same way about Cacophodon [/card] lol. High Priest of Penance really does get to try and be a rock star here eh? Dictate of Heliod is nice because flash can be fun, not sure if it's worth running too many anthems. They are just kinda bad, but in this sense it could be worth it. Gaea's Anthem maybe? Also obvious. Nothing not obvious comes to mind yet. Including Darksteel Plate seems like a good idea tho. Agreed on the deathtouch, but lifelink should be great.

Armistice is exactly the kind of card I'm looking for. It's hilariously bad, and the flavor text is pure gold. 5 stars out of 4. White card draw lol

Adjacent silly idea - Noxious Field on Hissing Quagmire is pretty sick if you can give it indestructible or regenerate it (yavimaya hollow)? Probably worth including both of those in the deck lol.

Noxious Field is pretty funny. Not bad, definitely in the top qjintile of Prophecy cards (but, um, it's Prophecy), since it is anti-token tech, just Pestilence exists. But it is hilarious if you have some way to give a land deathtouch.

While on Masques, can I interest you in the monger cycle?

Those are definitely both worth including. Golos can get them too, go figure. Imagine making it huge with Rite of Passage and being able to animate an arbitrarily large deathtouch land. Gold, pure gold. I wonder if any other animate lands are worth including

The monger cycle is great. Maybe the deck should just go all in on those things and Endbringer's Revel and it's ilk. That'd be dumb. Maybe Endless Whispers.

I just built Golos Master's Edition tribal (master's edition are 4 sets released on mtgo made up of old cards from pre mirage days to be draftable). With exception of the usual ramp, its mostly legends from Legends. Spin the wheel and drop Ramirez and Tobias.

One thing that could make Golos more fun is establishing a restriction on yourself that you must cast all spells he flips, and include some truly disastrous options like One with Nothing and Steel Golem. Keep the gambling but remove the guaranteed value. That way spinning the wheel is less "what did I win?" and more "did I win...or lose?"

Shoot, that sounds fun too. I might end up with multiple golos decks...
