Help me find a list of all cards?

Does anyone have or know of an easily printable list of all the sets currently available? I figure I'll use that to "track" my collection by highlighting the cards I have.

This forum now has a collection tracker as well if that's easier?

I'm in the process of trying it out, just kind of wanted a "hard" way to do it also

@serenade if there was a way to make it an easily printable check list that would be great, I'll try and spend a few minutes looking into it when I can

Holy crap that sounds like a huge pile of paper if you're actually going to print it. And probably a lot of money on ink tbh. And it doesn't help you figure out what's actually good and desirable for your collection.

I'll just quickly relate how I do mine, if you didn't already know (can't remember if we talked about it). I use the "decked" collections add-on (costs a couple bucks) and plugged in all the cards I own.

Whenever a new set comes out (or I'm looking through old cards that might be better than I thought, or might have relevance because of a new commander i.e. anje) I'll look through the set and add all the cards I want for the collection to the "%$#% I want" decklist. Then as I trade/draft/etc I'll add cards to my physical collection, while adding them to my digital one and removing them from the wants list (sometimes I forget to remove from the wants list, but it's easy to just filter by "cards i own" and then remove all the ones i own from the wants list).

I'm sure there are other apps that could do a similar thing, but I've stuck with decked for years and at this point it'd be a hassle to change. My biggest complaint about decked is that, depending in which way you're using it, different printings of the same card can be either the same, or different. This mostly becomes an issue when trying to find, say, cards you don't own from a decklist, because unless the editions match it'll tell you that you don't own the card in your collection. I guess there are some collectors who really want every edition or something but it drives me nuts.

Anyway, maybe that was helpful, idk.

I'm currently using a google docs spreadsheet to track my collection. Data taken from scryfall whenever a new set gets added.

Searchable, filterable, sortable.

I'd probably try out the collection tracker, but it'snot exactly a small undertaking to input the info on a collection that large.

The google docs route is pretty much what I'm looking for. Something like a spreadsheet with 3 rows of cards in list form per page should keep the printing to something manageable and I can highlight the cards in my collection. Probably unnecessary and potentially still way more paper than I'm imagining. If there's a way to condense each sets cards to no more than 3 pages, 2 ideally it might be worth it. But yes, the idea of the collection tracker appeals to me but the undertaking does not...especially when I do this primarily on a mobile phone

What sort of layout are you actually looking for? Do you just want a spreadsheet of card names? Do you want any other columns? I attached a sample sheet with Beta as the only set for now. Are you looking for something more complex or with more detail or would this suffice?

This allows the entire set to fit onto 2 pages but doesn't give room for any other information so it is kind of "sparse".

A spreadsheet with card names is exactly what I'm looking for... Very simple. My phone won't let me open the document you provided but I may be able to try and open it on something later. Thank you

Try this link to open it in Google Sheets. It should work on your phone:

EDIT: Or, I suppose the site can open it for you. That is kind of cool and I didn't know it did that. It still might not show it exactly, but it should be close.

That's pretty cool that the site opens it up like that... And exactly what I'm looking for. Perhaps the only additional information I might want is numbers, especially for sets with numerical order.

Collector Number is pretty easy to add. The bigger issue is getting the output the way I did above since I had to manually do that from the current output I have from Scryfall.

I will see if I can find a way to break out each set into the format above within the code so I don't have to do it manually. I will add the collector number at the beginning of each card. I will see if it makes sense as part of the same field or another column. I have a feeling another column will cause it to extend past 2 pages but I will test it out a bit.

Once I have something, I will post here with the full Sheets doc. You can let me know if you want anything changed from there.

Alright. I modified my post above to point to a new file. This includes every set and every card (I hope) in those sets ordered by collector number.

I see that now the post above gives the option to "pop out" the sheet which will allow you to download it. Not sure if this is something that happens just because there are now a bunch of sheets, but there we go.

A note: the first sheet is a list of all the other sheets since there are so many of them. A Table of Contents (more or less). It seems that Google doesn't like my use of the "Hyperlink" formula but if you open it in Excel it works fine. It doesn't seem to be too easy to programatically fill this in so Google likes it.

It goes seem that Sheets has trouble opening the file since it is so large. I am trying to work out a solution to that.

I made this

Printable black and white - https://www.etsy.com/listing/1153470615 ... -magic-the
Printable colored - https://www.etsy.com/listing/1297270714 ... -magic-the
Physical copies - https://www.etsy.com/listing/1258143555 ... unofficial

I made these printable MTG checklists, it's probably close to what you're looking for. It's roughly 50 pages at the moment and is updated roughly twice a year, time permitting

Best printed on a toner or office inkjet printer
