Thanks for the suggestions!

If this is an EDH deck, as I presume it is, I would suggest this commander:
Sigarda, Font of Blessings. You can run both angels and humans together. Alternatively, if you want more Human focus, you could go with
Kyler, Sigardian Emissary, but I think Sigarda might be what you are looking for. And, they are both in the same colors so you could put one or the other in the 99.
Selesnia colours came to mind first, seems to be the default colours for Humans or Humans-&-Angels. I've considered older prints of Sigarda before but didn't find them interesting enough as the commander to play around. This new one seems to have more potential, but I am not sure if there are enough Humans or Angels worth playing from top of your deck, but could be worth looking into. My only hesitation is that I already have two Selesnia decks, not sure I want another one, but I suppose this would likely play different to the other two.

For the nostalgia factor, IMO, every "human" deck needs to include
Márton Stromgald and
Homura. I can't help much with the OP premise since my Human deck is mono-R and uses those two as swap-able Generals (where Marton is frowned upon, I put him in the 99 and put Homura in the big chair instead).
You may consider my
Tribal Write-up idea of considering Tribal Identity like CI - and only include Angels that have the Human tribe in the rules text (helps avoid Goodstuff includes).
lol I haven't played early enough to even remember those two cards, let alone be nostalgic about them

I'll definitely give that a read though, see if it gives me any ideas!
Hm, Ozhov is worth considering. I do have a
Teysa Karlov aristocrats deck which doesn't have that many humans, but maybe I could look into changing the creatures around, see if there enough humans that benefit from death triggers.

Bruna, the Fading Light makes for a good two tribe pairing commander. Its really cool that the commander brings a big power swing to your side which makes her good at playing with and against sweepers. Even if she gets countered her rez fires off on cast which makes it really hard to shut her down entirely.
Having played her a good bit myself I will admit that she tends to be played more as an angels deck with a few humans backing her up just because her rez tends to favor single strong cards which tend to favor the higher cmc Angels over the Humans.
Not a bad shout, as Bruna deck is on my to-build list. I suppose she would lend herself quite nicely to a theme of filling my yard with Humans, so I can try max out the resurrections. Yeah, I think I'll pursue this first as an idea for
Angel of Glory's Rise deck. I do enjoy playing
Bruna, Light of Alabaster self-mill deck where people look at me funny when I
Traumatize myself
