I really like Lynde. Flavor, build around, interesting gameplay. She has everything a commander should have.

Lynde gets absolutely bodied by Hour of Revelation or other wipes that kill enchantments and creatures simultaneously. The recursion is not optional…Mookie wrote: ↑2 years agoLynde, Cheerful Tormentor looks like a solid enabler, and somewhat annoying to play against - most decks don't have that much enchantment removal, so recurring curses is pretty tricky to deal with. Still, if you want to build a curse deck, she seems like a good choice.
Jerren, Corrupted Bishop is fine. Combos with Moonmist, but otherwise I suspect the flip side will usually be flavor text outside dedicated decks (although getting to exactly 13 off Necropotence isn't difficult). Ormendahl is obviously absurd if you can get him though - 6/6 for 3 mana with a ton of relevant text. Front side is a bit weaker than Xathrid Necromancer, but you do get a token up front. Hmmmm....

I would think it would be really strong in sevinne since you only discard once, ends up at +3 cards when you flash it back, whereas faithless looting/mending are both CA-neutral. Or is it better to discard more to get stuff in the grave for Sevinne? Being an instant is a big up compared to looting, though, especially with Sevinne triggering once per turn.Hawk wrote: ↑2 years agoI wrote a big long thing about upgrades to Sevinne in this set and then they had to save Electric Revelation for the dump day. While it's no Faithless Looting or Faithful Mending the deck probably still does want it. Honestly I'm also game to consider paying one more over Thrill of Possibility in a lot of decks for the chance to flash it back later. "Bad instant speed looting" is probably still quite good in most non-blue decks.
The best curse are n Red and Black, Followed by white with Green and Blue pulling up the rear. Qquestio is, do yo wn better curse, or emore control to cast the red and black curses?Serenade wrote: ↑2 years agoI like Otherworldly Gaze. You do not get a card like Ransack the Lab or Strategic Planning, but the instant speed makes it a nice EOT trick.
EDIT: Also, Lynde is a trap. The best curses are in white!
It kinda looks like your avatar...Sanity_Eclipse wrote: ↑2 years agoStolen Vitality's art is among the creepier I've seen recently. Not that it's too extreme, but definitely not a fan.
