Assuming real, Junji seems quite strong. Both modes are nasty and the body is no slouch either.

Assuming real, I think the text on Risona, Asari Commander is:

Haste

Whenever Risona, Asari Commander deals combat damage to a player, if it doesn't have an indestructible counter on it, put an indestructible counter on it.

Whenever combat damage is dealt to you, remove an indestructible counter from Risona.

No clue on p/t.

Seems...probably pretty bad tbh. For 1 mana more you can lose the conditionality on the indestructible and just run Tajic, Blade of the Legion. I guess if you're planning to wipe the board all the time, having the haste and discount (and maybe 3 power?) is nice, but still pretty boring. Think I'd rather have Depala, Pilot Exemplar or something for CA instead of just a beatstick.

Yeah, I agree with these assertions.
Risona might be okay as a voltron commander - haste + indestructible is a strong combination of keywords, especially if you can get it out before opponents have blockers. Not something I'm particularly excited by, barring some unforeseen additional card text or synergies. Still, I do appreciate the return of ability counters.

Junji looks like a very nice pile of value. It doesn't immediately outclass Kokusho, the Evening Star or Gray Merchant of Asphodel as a creature to loop, but if you're only going to get one or two triggers (and not using it as a win condition), it acts as a nice midrangey value creature.

I'm always amazed at the quality of the images. My boss had a motorola v3 until recently. It was a 15 year old phone that could pictures with much, much more quality. I assume they are screencaps from a video? or that the leaker is lowkey trolling us all

I think the card is outclassed often. might be relevant in bad keyword decks? at 3 cmc I doubt p/t is high

I think, Junji would fit perfectly into my Kroxa list, and assuming that Tergrid, God of Fright might get the ban hammer, I know exactly what will replace her :>

Hot take I know, but I kinda prefer having these terrible quality photos leaking one or two cards at a time. For one thing, it makes spoilers take longer to digest instead of getting blurred together in one big glut. It also means a lot more speculation about what it might do, and how good it would be if it did X or Y. Risona is probably going to be a trash-tier instantly-forgotten legend, but the terrible quality spoiler made me spend a while trying to sleuth out what the text box said and speculating over what it's stats would need to be for it to be viable as a commander, which is a lot more enjoyment than I would have gotten if it was printed in an official spoiler.

I think there's a solid chance it has 3 power tbh. Considering how easy it is to remove the counter, and considering 3/2 haste creatures are printed at common in mono-red, 2-power would be pretty insultingly weak. It's not particularly interesting at 3 power either but it's not awful.

On these two dragons so far, I like that one death trigger sets up the other one even better. Not required to do one then the other, but it is a nice interaction.

I'm bored so it's speculation time.

what do y'all think the last 3 legendary lands will be?

first two are fairly iconic abilities for their colors (white = dmg attacker/blocker, black = self mill + raise dead). So I'd say the likely options are:

Blue: counterspell (most likely conditional), bounce spell, draw spell (presumably more than 1 so it's isn't just cycling).
Red: threaten, damage (creature/player/planeswalker), +x/+0 (single or team), artifact destruction, destroy target wall (definitely this one)
Green: pump, fight, ramp, tokens...who are we kidding it's 100% a pump spell.

Currently my speculation is:

minamo: channel 3U, counter target spell unless its controller pays 3 (reduced by 1 per legendary)
shinka: Channel 3R, team gets +2/+0 eot (ditto)
okina: Channel 2G, target creature gets +3/+3 (ditto)

If the blue land ends up being a counterspell, it will be interesting to compare to the original snapcaster mage.
Denying Channel
Land
: add
2UU, discard Denying Channel: counter target spell.

R&D tried this card out, but they decided that a land that could also be an uncounterable counterspell was too strong to print. So they asked Tiago for another version. And that turned into Snapcaster Mage!

Green might also be a fight ability. Also, while maybe not quiet busted, I think the blue counter spell is pretty darn close. However, I play bant control in legacy and that land would be a sweet one of, especially once you get loam online. Maybe the blue won't droaw multiple cards but it will draw and provide filtering, maybe just straight up brainstorm?

Minamo: Channel 2U scry 3, then draw a card.
Shinka: Channel 1R: target creature gains double strike
Okina: Channel 3G: target creature you control fight target creature.
Edit: now that I think about it, green already has a land that doubles as a fight spell in Khalni Ambush // Khalni Territory [/card], so it'll probably be something else just so that the cards aren't overlapping in design.
All of them cost 1 less for each legendary you control ofc.
All cards are bad if you try hard enough.

Anyone else get some of the black and white cards from the "double feature" packs?

Can't say I totally love it...individual cards look cool, but
(1) that art isn't really designed with B&W in mind, so it doesn't always look that great in comparison to the full-art basics, for example
(2) when you're looking at an entire sealed pool it's kind of a %$#%, not to mention actually playing them when the cards are look so similar
(3) idk what idiot let the flip cards make it through production, but they should have actually looked at the cards. The p/t indicators for the other side (the ones above the normal p/t box with the little arrow) are virtually invisible. It's black ink on a charcoal background. I thought they'd just removed them entirely until I took a really close look.

Overall, better in concept than execution.

There are a few legends that I want to get in the Double Feature border: Saryth, Geralf, Gisa. I think the pop of the border works best with them. I've only seen scans so far, though, so I'm not sure if they will look as nice IRL.

Quick question about
SPOILER
Show
Hide
Thousand-Faced Shadow
If it Possible to go Infinite (I know it is, Sakashima's student or Mistblade Shinobi and Peregrine drake)
but can this combo escalate to the point of being able to send attacker to other players after the blocker step has been declared.?

Attack step is with Peregrine Drake and someone else
No blockers (For whatever reason, maybe they had no flyers and you had two flyers.)
Blocker step ends
You start your infinite combo (Getting 5 mana for every drake you created, and Student or mistblade will allow you to cycle thousand-faces repeatedly. getting infinite mana (With Student) but more importantly, infinite drakes.

With infinite drakes, can i send say 1000 at the plyer i initially attacked, and 1000 at another player and 1000 at the final player. Thousand faces does not specify which player i am attacking with the copies, just that they are attacking. Blocker step is already over.

Unofficial Spoiler Discussion
Farewell looks good, the global exile wipe selection is surprisingly small, and this one has a lot of flexibility. Seriously, if you want a wipe that hits non-creatures and exiles, the competition is Play of the Game and Perilous Vault (also Urza's Ruinous Blast but I'm not sure that can really be called a global wipe)

Not gonna do anything outside of EDH, but in my Phelddagrif deck... *rubs hands excitedly*

To kind of chill my excitement however, the more leaks that are released, the more skeptical I become about these being real. Many people have already pointed out that there is no reason with modern technology for the leaks to have such poor image quality, originally I assumed that these must be cropped and blown up, or maybe taken from a video of playtesting, so the quality can be explained away. But now we have: cards with low resolution, cards without art, cards with atrocious glare, and a crumpled up and then smoothed out card. It's not impossible, but I feel like if the leak was genuine, the card images would have all been attained the same way, so the images would likely be of the same quality.

The inconsistent card image quality (especially Risona requiring detective levels of inspection to decipher) coupled with the cards being released one at a time, makes this feel a bit too perfect.

Ultimately, I'm not too concerned either way, there are been a couple of cards that look like they'd be fun, and I'm pretty excited to mix the channel lands with Life from the Loam and/or Slogurk, the Overslime. But I won't be heartbroken if that's not the case.

I suppose it's also possible that these cards are real, and they're being intentionally "leaked" this way to build hype.

Or I'm overthinking this, and the leaks are just that: leaks
All cards are bad if you try hard enough.

Maro's teasers
First up, here are some things you can expect:

• two different pairings of creature types get tribally connected

• a black instant with "Destroy target creature or planeswalker" that can be cast for two mana

• a popular legendary creature from Champions of Kamigawa block returns in a new form

• an unnamed mechanic that cares about you having two things that Magic has had since its beginning

• finish of a five-card cycle many years in the making

• one of Tamiyo's children gets a legendary creature card

• a new creature token with an ability not seen before on a card

• two popular cycles from Champions of Kamigawa block return each with a new twist

• a creature that makes a legendary Frog creature token

• two new Yamazakis

Next, here are some rules text that will be showing up on cards:

• "you may cast target enchantment from your graveyard this turn."

• "where X is the number of times this ability has resolved this turn."

• "Whenever you cast an artifact, instant, or sorcery spell, copy that spell."

• "The first activated ability of an artifact you activate each turn costs 2 less to activate."

• "Then repeat this process for an enchantment and a planeswalker."

• "You may sacrifice a permanent that shares a card type with the chosen card."

• "you may tap any number of untapped creatures you control."

• "The 'legend rule' doesn't apply to permanents you control."

• "that ability triggers an additional time."

• "if it has dealt 10 or more damage to that player this turn, they lose the game."

Finally, here are some creature type lines in the set:

• Creature – Fox Pilot

• Creature – Turtle Ninja

• Creature – Moonfolk Samurai

• Artifact Creature – Goblin Artificer

• Artifact Creature – Ogre Warrior

• Enchantment Creature – Rat Rogue

• Enchantment Creature – Egg

• Legendary Creature – Kirin Spirit

• Legendary Creature – Goblin Samurai

• Legendary Enchantment Creature – Snake Druid
Moonfolk Samurai is a bit odd
Fox Pilot suggests vehicles

I wonder what the now completed cycle will be
The New World fell not to a sword but to a meme

• "you may cast target enchantment from your graveyard this turn."
• "Then repeat this process for an enchantment and a planeswalker."
• "You may sacrifice a permanent that shares a card type with the chosen card."
• "if it has dealt 10 or more damage to that player this turn, they lose the game."
• Legendary Enchantment Creature – Snake Druid
Yaaaaay.
