Have you considered one without an HDD but a bigger SSD?
Given how big games are today, 240GB SSD isn't much and loading times could be considerably longer, dependent on the HDD's stats.
1TB SSD's go for under $100 these days. An acceptable price for a considerable upgrade, if you ask me.

Oh,i should have explained:

I plan to scanvage my current computer's SSD (120 GB SSD )and the one i installed myself (240GB) and put it in this computer. I would go for the individual parts route but at this rate and with prices the way they are, buying this is cheaper and quicker.

And i don't have many games installed at once either.

I'll second that more SSD storage is a good call but if you're happy with the amount you have those look like decent specs. You should be able to run most modern games pretty well with that.

I switched over to using a single large SSD for all my needs and not having to have a second logical drive is really nice. It's so tedious installing games and things on another drive and then they stick some components in appdata and whatever.

I got a 1TB for me but recently I upgraded my wife's to this model - got her a 2TB Mushkin drive for $175 or so, which has been awesome for her. Just cloned her old drive, copied her old crap from her second drive, reinstalled some stuff, and and done.

With the prebuilt, the OS is on the SSD that it comes with. It won't happen till after the stimulus comes, but I am considering just getting a large external HD and copy everything off the old machine i want, get a 1tb SSD and copy to it. Then reinstall the games I want,a fresh install is always recommended anyway.

The free version of Macrium reflect will let you image your drive then extend it. Took me 45 minutes with my wife's 128gb ssd → 2TB ssd.

Not finding Tergrid, God of Fright // Tergrid's Lantern as fun as I thought on Arena brawl.
1. Does nothing by itself
2. Magnet for removal
3. When you do get triggers your opponent just scoops
4. People misplay into Tergrid all the time, initiating 'shame scoops'.

I imagine Tergrid would be better in the 99 in Commander. There are some good options - Nath of the Gilt-Leaf, Nekusar, the Mindrazer, Tinybones, Trinket Thief, etc.

That explains that then. I keep an ice scraper in my car at all times, and I wouldn't be surprised if people in NM didn't know what an ice scraper looked like. It has snowed three weeks in a row in Maryland. I'm over it.

And on Friday, I spent nine hours fixing my septic tank with my saint of a father-in-law. I've never been that dirty in my adult life.

Tbh this isn't the card, this is the people you're playing against being salty and butthurt. Why start the game at all if you were just going to scoop the first time this happened? Not like they didn't know what they were up against.

Northern new Mexico and up in the mountains get snow often, but here in the Southeast, some winters we never get snow just very cold.

Yes and no.

If they discard a land and I get it, they don't scoop.
But they scoop when they get empty handed from my discard and I get a free critter.
The trigger is such a huge swing that I would say 75% of the triggers I have seen so far have been enough to put away the game.

Well yeah, it is pretty brutal, not really what I'd call a fun time, but YMMV. My point was though, you know it's going to happen, if you're just gonna scoop why bother shuffling up at all?

I mean Brawl on Arena has an inherent problem since there is no entry fee. I can't tell you how many times my opponents scooped to me killing their two-drop.

Ugh. Internet gamers tbh. They either get salty or scoop at the first sign of interaction. It's silly.

Random thing I'm annoyed about today is the "SECRET LAIR: THE UNFATHOMABLE CRUSHING BRUTALITY OF BASIC LANDS" (I know all caps is annoying but I c/p'd it and I don't want to retype it). I kinda dig the art and I almost want to consider getting some, but the distribution model is so stupid. Who is going to spend $30 to have non-matching basic lands? I can't imagine hardly anyone buying just 1 of these, so you're paying a ton of money and getting a bunch of big-ol-boxes shipped to your house individually, each of which has five cards. What a dumb waste of packaging and shipping to get cards in increments hardly anyone wants. To replace the basic lands in my collection I'd have to pay $900+ (plus shipping lol) and rip open 30 godforsaken packages. And that's an especially lucky situation since at least I want an even distribution, someone who wants a dozen islands for a mono-blue deck is shelling out essentially $30 per land.

I guess I'll just add them to the list off "stuff I'll buy at an insane markup on ebay one day when I've become the next JK Rowling (minus the kid-friendly stories and transphobia) and money has no meaning anymore".

They still haven't twigged to how EDH players use basic lands. Fewer than 20 of each in a package might as well not exist for me, I just write them off instantly. But I do play a lot of 1 and 2 color decks these days.

It's also rather unfortunate that they have packed so much utility into Snow, as I'm even less interested in non-snow basics these days, because most 1-2c decks (which I seem to be finding myself preferring) will have small advantages from playing snow at no downside. :P

A few more years - and significant interactions - and we could go full circle, where it could be witty to play Extraplanar Lens with non-snow basics. I'd find that hilarious.

Or we're going to see more distorted landtypes with own interactions? Withered, drowned, ablaze, ... who knows?
