feel like you are meant to try and grant Lifelink to every single red creature in this entire set lol
This looks sweet. I'm personally excited to run it in Animar, Soul of Elements - being a creature is a significant upgrade over Warstorm Surge. This also looks to have potential in Dragonstorm decks... or just be a big flying beater in Standard. No haste means you can't use it as removal immediately though, unlike Glorybringer.
Interesting to see that they changes the templating from Thunderbreak Regent. Presumably to prevent misclicks? Hmmm... I like the jank combo of adding in Angel of Jubilation to make it immune to targeted removal.

You have no idea 😈 It outclasses Scourge of Valkas, which was already an amazing card in the deck. Definitively a very pushed design that will see play in lots of Commander decks, and has the potential to see Standard play too.

This is a great card for dragon commander decks and probably fills a similar role as cards like Glorybringer did in the past in standard

Someone posted on reddit that this combos with Sporeweb Weaver and Heroic Intervention. Hit the spider over and over as Saprolings cause the Dragon to trigger. Gain life, gain Saps, profit.
Probably not overly competitive but I was planning on some jank with the two creatures anyway, now there is random combo potential.
