Hey would you look at that, Happily Ever After wasn't an isolated blip, they're experimenting with parley related stuff for white. Stahp. Giving others cards while you get a card does not solve anything

This is mostly a big deal for having a 4 CMC Wrath back in standard - the extra text is possibly a drawback to be sure, but also possibly a boon (this being a Cantrip while you control Heliod, Sun-Crowned who doesn't even die is pretty sick). I know we've got Kaya's Wrath but that mana cost is gross - this is much more reasonable, and having a WoG effect in mono-white should put the color back on the map.

Parley is the perfect solution to white's problem, however I do not like it on a wrath. White Control usually draws cards through blue or black.
White Aggro is what needs card flow and parley effects.

I don't think this is actually trying to solve white's card flow problem though, I think this is just a 4cmc wrath and there is a drawback on it.

Ben a while since a 4CMC wrath effect that's mono colored in standard

And the draw back not to bad for commander only one card and samemcolor as smothering tithe so that comes to mind

Its still a 4 mana wrath, Heliod be praised.
