It will be interesting to find out how he sparks (if they ever tell us)
That shadowy wisp at the edge of your vision, there and gone before you notice.

My LIEGE. I like this dude. His alt art looks nothing like him, though.

He turns enchantments into restricted Banishing Lights? And can reuse the same... Oh, he can turn Gods into repeatable Banishing Light. Interesting. Otherwise he seems incredibly narrow outside of the Theros enchantment theme.

Calix is not red-green as the deity they're created by. That's interesting.

Maybe he added white when he encountered Elspeth and sparked.

That's all of the Elspeth corruption in him. Because you know nothing corrupts like white mana. :?

White I find really neat is that he is like an enchantment Karn in that he was created, not born, but still got a spark. The abilities are cool too. We have a bunch of artifact planeswalkers, but I think he is our first enchantment planeswalker.

As for his art, his normal art is great, but that borderless art... That pose... Those lips... Are we sure he isn't just a planeswalking pillar man?

I was hoping for a RG PW who does enchantress thing in a red way, such as making your enchantments deal damage. Yeah, I think Elspeth causing his spark to trigger is valid, given that he got W somehow.

The -7 seems awfully familiar...Estrid, the Masked.

Similar, yes. the main differences are that Estrid mills you 7 first and then brings things back in two waves (non-Aura then Aura) while Calix grabs everything at once with no self mill

Seems like a very fun walker, at least he doesn't have two positive loyalty abilities like a certain elk planeswalker.

I just don't get the lore on this....... Is he a planeswalker?? The blurb says something must happen to ingnite his spark??? What the hell does that mean. Is he sparked or not? Is it a real person or a created one?
Oh and shout out to another non-human planeswalker  I guess we wouldn't have identified with anything else
