LOL. I guess scorn is weaker than revenge. A worse sea god's revenge. (Edit: scorn lets you return your own guys, unlike revenge, so the lack of scry does not make it strictly worse.)

Polymorph on legs is not bad.

Scorn bounces enchantments too, so it can bounce a God even when turned off or other pesky enchantments

I'm super bummed by the lack of black Minotaurs so far.

Scorn seems good as it can bounce enchantments which is a straight upgrade to a lot of cards that did similar effects.

Thassa pouring water into Heliod's altar. He must have pissed her off somehow.

The minotaur feels like a better evolutionary leap, since it can use nonland permanents + put direct into the battlefield. Costs 6 though... so not easy to cast.

Well Heliod is the reason for Purphuros's state. When Elspeth stole the sword as a kid, Purphuros got blamed for it and Heliod punished him as the sword couldn't be found anywhere on the plane. Thassa hates Heliod because of what he did to Purphuros. Purphuoros being Thassa's love and his current state leaving Thassa very depressed as Purphoros can't remember her or much of anything aside from crafting. Heliod also pushed Thassa to help Elspeth back when Elspeth was Heliod's champion. In addition Heliod has been sending his new champion, Daxos, to go around Meletis and erase traces of all the other gods.

So yeah, Thassa doesn't like Heliod at all.

Also look closely at the art of ray of dissolution

Thassa hates Heliod for the reasons Drusus mentioned.
