bant hushbringer? you don't get the etb draw, but you can get a 6/6 on turn 3. Repudiate also stops that, but then it's only a 5 mana 6/6 with a really good attack trigger.

explore on legs? That recur from the GY? And not just wiry legs either. Plus, the random life gain.

Yeah, the card is pushed.

Edit: I've just re-read it and you gain life, draw and play a land on each attack too? Gee.

Christmas:
  1. bloodlust inciter
  2. hushbringer
  3. this guy, attack for 6, draw a card, play a land :)

Seems solid - I don't love paying 1 more for Explore but the 3 life ain't nothing to make up for it, and then of course we staple the chance to recur this and have a 6/6 body for our trouble...disgusting.

TITANS CONFIRMED!

this is 1,000,000% a exact match to the bearded dude on the binding of the titans

Question now is how many titans are in the cycle

But talk about the card

That ETB and attack trigger is absurd gain 3 draw then explore

I was surprised when Eutropia the Twice-Favored didn't draw cards or generate mana. This looks a bit more like the Simic legends I expect.

More seriously, Explore in the command zone looks sweet. The fact that it is also a large beater that dodges commander tax just makes it better. The 'ETB or attacks' trigger reminds me of the original Titan cycle. We'll see if that trend continues.

Draw two cards, play two lands, gain 6 life (etb and attack)

That showcase art is truly menacing and I like it

I was wondering what the Titans' type lines were going to be. I was thinking about how "god" wouldn't fit thematically, but just making them "giants" would undersell their significance.

This might not be terrible to want 4 of. More in your hand are just more Explores and yard fodder for Escape.

I think this is very cool. Additionally, I suppose I'm glad this doesn't have Trample.

Elder Giant. Nice.

Titan trigger (ETB or attacks) on a 6/6. Very nice.

Flavorful evoke/escape abilty. Very nice indeed.

So, Mistform Ultimus is an Elder Dragon, Elder Demon, Elder Dinosaur, and now also an Elder Giant. It might need a Rascal to get around soon.

Pelt Collector and Yorvo aren't going to mind getting two counters off Uro coming and going, either.
May your games be chaotic and your decks be rogue.

Oh should point this out

There's only 3 mythics left

Because but...

There's 4 titans (the 4th is behind klothys) so we may have 1 extra mythic than usual in this set

If you consider pokulranos a cell mate that would make a cycle

One of those mythics is likely to be the third planeswalker. While yes, walkers at rarities other than mythic is something they can do, there needs to be a reason for it. I would not say this set has said reason.

Seems very powerful, especially with ways to bring him back to the battlefield repeatedly by not using his escape ability. Each death is just more lifegain, card draw, and more lands entering.
