I like these. They came out of nowhere, but I could have smelled something was going to happen when they announced no rare two-colour lands.

I like that the common basic-land-type lands help these but not the other way around.

I suppose we should be expecting an Ironcreg, Ardenvale and Garenbrig lands then? Wonder what they will do?

Like the red one, these lands will all be played as at least one-of in any mono-colored deck forever more. (The only exception is if you have card that cares about the number of land of the basic land type. Everything has an exception in magic)

Scry 2 that doesn need a card is strong in the late game.

I bet they built this castle
and then it sank into the lake
then they built another castle
and that one sank into the lake
then they built another castle on top of the other castle
and it also sank into the lake
but the 4th castle, the fourth castle survived to print

I like this, I like this more so because it is not legendary.

Pretty sure the third one burned down, then sank into the lake.

Castle Vantress looks pretty solid. Scry 2 isn't the most impressive payoff, but it's a solid lategame mana sink. The cost of running enough Islands (which don't even have to be basic) to have it enter untapped consistently is relatively low, although it does push for a monocolor / two-color deck. Does feel like this cycle ought to be legendary though.
