As the thread title implies, this is the thread where we share our favorite mtg flavor texts. Will start the thread with Gerrard's Battle Cry.

I like the flavor because of the irony of it. Gerrard and the weatherlight crew were badly beaten by Greven Il-Vec. Pieces of the legacy that they had were taken as well. :P

I miss snarky Jaya, and also snarky Chandra from back when Chandra was clearly just a Jaya clone a la Craterize or Incinerate|M12. Nowadays Chandra is too serious business for me.

Ogre Resister and Reckless Cohort have always been up there for me.

hmm, does the flavor text of reckless cohort mean he wants to reach the bodies of his family. Or maybe he's suicidal want to join them in the afterlife?
