Already, this novel feels like it's taking a bit more time, establishing a pacing that could yield better characterizations and plot. War of the Spark sped too quickly. I have not read all of Django Wexler's prequel, though the little I have read/skimmed looked like it was developed more.
I figure I'd start this thread in anticipation of Forsaken. Thus far, we're just getting a summary of War focalized through Kaya.
