I always thought Davriel's WAR card was dishonest to his actual capabilities and he deserved better. Although his color identity being Esper is questionable, I do feel this way, so...

This does feel pretty much like his power theft ability suite. Unconditionally getting to free cast the stolen spells is very potent but it's relatively expensive and relatively slow.
