So, considering it, I really think the thing that would make me reconsider is that I do not want this card to be worse if you play it with Muraganda Petroglyphs, so maybe I should go for "base power and toughness 2/2"...

The "green" condition was basically an in-joke because there are already nine other cards that are green vanilla creatures with base power and toughness 2/2 (and that's without tokens...). I could remove the color restriction, but then I would feel bad about this not working with morph at all...

Card of the Day 2019-09-13: >

Menacing Graxiplon {2}{U}{R}
Creature – Beast (U)
Menace (This creature can't be blocked except by two or more creatures.)
~ can't be blocked unless all creatures blocking it share a creature type.

I think setting it to check base power 2/2 is the better method. Means a. less artificial inflation of your counts; b. if you have to boost your creatures for some reason (e.g. Muraganda Petroglyphs...) you don't have to remove that to trigger the win. (Also stops your opponents going "I put a +1/+1 counter on your bear" and screwing you over, in one of the stranger situations you'd see in this game...)

Menacing Graxiplon's second ability is really cool. This definitely needs a set that cares at least a little about creature types, though.

It should be "unless it's attacking a player." The current wording can lead one to believe that it completely loses its unblockablity if it ever attacks a player.

Bloodsap Elf {2}{R}{G}
Creature – Elf Berserker (U)
Haste
When you cast ~, reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a land card. Put that card onto the battlefield and the remaining cards on the bottom of your library in a random order.

Card of the Day 2019-09-16 >

Screeching Strix {U}{B}
Artifact Creature – Bird (R)
Flying
{U}{B}: Each player buries the top card of their library. If an artifact is buried this way, put a +1/+1 counter on ~.
The screech of a strix can drain the thoughts and memories of those who hear it, which in turn nourishes the bird.

I like both the elf and the birb. But the owl, if you have access to enough mana, can quickly get out of hand. I love it.

Any chance it could be legendary? So I can imagine it as a perfect thematic 5c Eldrazi Commander.

Bringer of the Black Dawn and co. were not, so I copied that, but Bringers are a bit like Nephilim in that regard: Their color identity would make them more useful for the Commander format as commanders than part of the 99.

I personally see no issue with using the card as a Commander. You already are playing Commander with a custom card; the alteration to make playing that custom card a legal commander is entirely within your abilities. I just usually choose to bend the rules of Commander rather than the wording of a card. Feel free to do it the other way around! : )

Yes on the Nephilim, no on the bringers because no one actually asks to make the bringers legendary as they do with the Nephilim. It's possible that for a large number of things printed before 2009 not making them legendary was a 'mistake'. EDH wasn't on wizards radar until around that time.

Yep, that's the point. The Bringer and Nephilim are very similar in that they are nonlegendary creature cycles that would preferably have been legendaries if the Commander format had been taken into account yet.

Hideaway (This creature enters the battlefield tapped. When it does, look at the top four cards of your library, exile one face down, then put the rest on the bottom of your library.)
When ~ dies, reveal a card exiled with ~. If that card is a Homarid card, put it onto the battlefield.

Love the camarid. To be honest, Homarids and Camarids need more love (as do other rare creature types, like the Brushwag)

Also, the thought of a flying camel makes me giggle.

Lots of great stuff lately. I must say Blinkmoth Assembly is incredible although it would make more sense to me for the tokens to be colorless, and oh wait I see EXACTLY what you're doing here and want to give you a hand for that. Much respect for doing the token-only types too.
Psst, check the second page of Custom Card Contests & Games! Because of the daily contests, a lot of games fall down to there.

Thanks. : )

When it comes to the Blinkmoth tokens... I feel there is a lot of inertia that causes us all to think "it makes more sense for artifact creature tokens to be colorless" and by extension that is true for all the creature types associated with artifact creatures. In this brave new world of colored artifacts though - the one we all live in now - I'm trying to question this and wonder whether there is any color for a card or token that we would consider fitting to the individual card/token without any predisposition to just make artifacts colorless as a default.

What are Blinkmoths? Small fliers that appear in groups and make each other stronger. That sounds white enough to me. I, too, feel the above-mentioned inertia though and can easily see myself go either way on the color or lack there-of. It's not an integral part of the design. It will be interesting to see whether the surge in colored artifacts also will result in more colored artifact tokens in canon Magic cards.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to comment on the theme. :D It's daunting.

You may look at the top card of your library. (You may do this at any time.)
You may cast the top card of your library if it is an Egg card.
Egg spells cost {2} less to cast.
{U}{R}{W}: Manifest the top card of your library as a 0/3 Egg with defender.
You'll never know what it hatches.
