I had a "party" mechanic back in the day. The link is to a Sally thread showcasing the mechanic's hallmark card. The ability in general was exactly the same as that seen in Zen Rising cards, except I wanted a class for each color so there's a fifth intended to represent green - "Ranger".

I once pointed out to Matt of the rules team that Legendary creatures didn't have any comp rule support for short names, and they added it.

I then pointed out the rules broke Dralnu, Lich Lord's printed wording, so they errata'd Dralnu, then fixed the legend rule.
