If I have Faithbound Judge and Maskwood Nexus in play then cast Moonmist what happens with Sinner's Judgement as it's an Aura but technically hasn't left play so can you attach it to a player or will it fail because it's not actually enchanting a player?

It will transform as expected and then be an Aura attached to nothing and since "nothing" is not legal for an Aura to enchant, it will go to the graveyard as a state based action.

Would it not be exiled with the replacement effect?

pokken was referring to this text on Sinner's Judgment (which all Disturb cards have on their back side if I recall correctly):

"If Sinner's Judgment would be put into a graveyard from anywhere, exile it instead."

So, my statement about the aura going to the yard was incorrect. In this case, "going to the yard" is replaced with "put into exile" because of the replacement effect that sentence creates.
