Moss-pit skeleton

Hi, have a question on Moss-Pit Skeleton. If I have a skeleton in the graveyard.. would creatures entering the battlefield with +1/+1 counter be enough to trigger the ability of the skeleton and it be put on top of owner library? For example, cast a genesis hydra, can I put the skeleton in the yard on top of library?

Yes. Something entering with counters will trigger or affect anything that looks for counters being "put" on it. So, the Hydra has counters being put on it (as long as X > 0) and Skeleton will trigger appropriately.

follow-up question. In the interaction with the genesis hydra ability.. which one happens first, the hydra revealing the top x cards of the library, or the skeleton being put on top of the library?

The Hydra has a cast trigger so that goes on the stack on top of the Hydra spell. As such, that will resolve before the Hydra and the Hydra only gets counters as it enters (so, as it is resolving). You will reveal before the Skeleton can even trigger.
