I played Bala Ged Recovery // Bala Ged Sanctuary as the Sanctuary side.

I blink it with, say, Ruin Ghost.

What happens? Thanks!

Bala Ged Recovery will remain exiled.

This is because while a double-faced card is in exile, only its front face's characteristics exist (here, those of Bala Ged Recovery) (C.R. 711.4a), so that a card that enters exile enters with its front face up. Moreover, Ruin Ghost's ability brings a card to the battlefield untransformed (since it doesn't state otherwise) (C.R. 711.8), and when an instant or sorcery card (such as the untransformed Bala Ged Recovery) would enter the battlefield, it remains in its previous zone (C.R. 304.4, 307.4).

Got it. To confirm, if my scenario used Glasspool Mimic // Glasspool Shore as the example instead, the card would return as the Mimic face, correct? Thanks!

Yes, that is correct, since the front face is neither an instant nor a sorcery and the card would return to the battlefield with its front face up by default.
