Cards
Drakuseth, Maw of Flames

Drakuseth can target up to 3 different targets. I am wondering how he works when some of his targets become illegal (Gaining hexproof, sacrifice, etc.). His wording confuses me.

What happens if you target 3 creatures, and the creature taking 4 damage becomes illegal.

Once the target are chosen the ability resolves if any of them are still legal, if only one become illegal (hexproof) it will not take damage but the other will be hit regardless.
The ability will fail to resolve only if ALL the target become illegal (mass hexproof)

Sweet, thanks. I just wanted to make sure that partial failures didn't result in all of them failing.
