Hi, if I'm exactly 3 life and have Kambal, consul of allocation.. opponent target me with skewer the critics. What happens first? The lifegain from kambal or the damage from skewer?
Accepted Answer
Kambal has a triggered ability triggered by a spell being cast. That means the ability will go on the stack on top of the spell and always resolve first. The opponent will lose life and you will gain life before you are dealt damage.
