Hi, can I use Mu Yanling, Sky Dancer +2 ability even if I don't want to target anything? For example, opponent has no creatures but have some on my side. Can I use her +2 without shooting my creatures with it?

Mu Yanling's +2 loyalty ability says "up to one target creature." As such, you can choose 0 targets when activating the ability.

Yes, as long as the ability is templated with "up to" you can chose 0 target and still activate the ability
