Animist's Awakening
Witch's Cottage
If you cast Awakening for four, with enough stuff in your yard to activate Spell mastery, and put four Cottages into play, they'd come into play tapped but immediately be untapped by the second half of Awakening. I know there's no time to play anything between the card's two clauses, so would the Cottages be tricked into thinking they came into play untapped? thanks

Referring to the release notes:
"If another effect puts these lands onto the battlefield tapped, they enter tapped, even if you control enough lands with the appropriate basic land type.
Once the common lands (such as Mystic Sanctuary) enter the battlefield tapped, there's no way to untap them with a spell or ability to make their last ability trigger."
The lands are put onto the battlefield tapped. At that point, the ability doesn't trigger, even if you untap them (either from Animist's Awakening's untap clause, or Amulet of Vigor).
