Re: August CCL, Top 4: Marks of Pain
Just a note: templating definitely does use the oxford comma, see for instance the reminder text for historic (Artifacts, legendaries, and Sagas are historic.) Obviously doesn't matter much for the CCL, but for the MCC judges will deduct points if you don't use it. Light of the Fair Basilica just is...

Re: Who wants to talk about spite scooping?
I might have missed something since I certainly started skimming this discussion at a certain point, but it sort of feels like folks are just arguing on behalf of different player psychographics and expecting to convince each other? That is to say: *There are some people on this thread/planet who ar...

Re: September MCC - Judge signup thread
I haven't been able to judge for a while since I've been busy, but things have calmed down so I'm also happy to judge if either a) we get enough entries to need three judges, which seems unlikely given recent trends or b) void wants to play instead of judging.

Oh, gotcha. Yeah, magic templating does use the Oxford comma (see Grimdancer for the exact same set of words) so in fact it would be wrong to not include the comma. Didn't quite understand your phrasing because if the Oxford comma didn't exist then I wouldn't have used it

Personally, I'm not sure why the discussion here is so focused on reminder text rather than allowing people to define a new mechanic outside of the card box. I agree with bravelion83 that reminder text should be counted toward microtext -- if someone makes a card with hideaway, they shouldn't be all...
