Re: Legacy of Innistrad
I think Ward is a really interesting mechanic! I think every variant you've proposed does something interesting, but in a somewhat complex way? My thought might be to remove the exile side of the mechanic and instead make it more of an alternate casting cost that causes it to immediately throw out a...

Re: Return to Tarkir: Clans and Mechanics
I wasn't active for most of the Tarkir sets so I can't speak too much to flavor.
The overall idea behind these mechanics seems sensible, though a part of me wishes there was a little more unity between them, I don't think that's necessarily practical.
I'm interested in seeing more!

Re: Just a curious child on an adventure.
Dig the flavor, dig the card!
I wonder if the cost on the Adventure is a little high/high commitment, but I see why it is what it is, especially at common!

I think Badger Knight is my favorite of the designs from a mechanical and flavor perspective. Pump + First strike + Trample is pretty nifty.

Re: Vex
I imagine caring about land cards is because it's meant to have about a 33%(ish) buff activation ratio (on Vex 1)? But that's just a rough guess. I am unsure how I feel about the mechanic. I definitely like the inspiration, but it feels like maybe it doesn't mill enough to make the milling matter? A...

Legend I think that's a really good fix! M00NSIDIAN those are some very good points and catches. Re: [FOB] Fallen Obalt
Most of this is pretty good, but Blackmail seems a bit narrow and parasitic. Would something like Revolt but for opponents still make sense? I do like how the three(four?) mechanics work together well and am interested to see how the set turns out. I suspect, on further introspection along this lin...

Re: Get A Clue: Maryhk, Street Preacher, Enk, Battle Scholar, and Gogugy, Revealed
I appreciate the catches on Marhyk especially; I think updating it to exile instead of sacrifice for the first ability should help curb some of it's more obvious problematic interactions. As for the planeswalkers. I definitely need to give them more thought. I initially thought I was being cuter wit...

Sacrifice three Spirits: Each player returns to the battlefield all non-Spirit permanent cards in each graveyard that were put there from the battlefield this turn. Re: [FOB] Fallen Obalt
nice cards so far, love how everything locks together. Would this setting have planeswalkers and, if so, would they be part of the sacrifice and clue mini-game or have entirely other abilities that call back to their home planes? Thank you! As to planeswalkers... I haven't quite decided. I feel hav...

Really appreciating the context on multicolor provided herein.
Also I particularly like Jelen Archivist's ability, though I can see the concern about it being on a 1CMC card.

Re: Postcards from Neobha (custom set)
I like the idea behind Starcatcher! But I almost worry it's too good without a once per turn limit on it? (I suppose it's easiest to comment on mechanics, when the flavor picture is still developing, at least in my eyes, throughout the posts. That said, totally digging the use of flavor as such a to...

Re: Spark-Eater
Definitely. If it only generated one token, then it would be more than acceptable in black because it would be analogous to reanimation. Generating multiple tokens is more like actually copying things, which requires blue. I almost think it would fit in [sym=b] even if it generated the tokens multi...

I dig it. Cost seems about right, though as void_nothing mentioned, perhaps in need of ? (To me this is at least partially because of the fact that it can generate multiple token copies, I think.)

That makes sense. Yeah, I definitely need to be careful with how far I push that gimmick. I debated putting it as a
The goal of Ravenous Beast was infect but... without infect. I suspect it does not succeed at that goal.

Ravenous [sym=G] (You may cast this spell for its ravenous cost. If you do, sacrifice a permanent as you cast it.) Target creature gets +2/+2. Demur Detectiive isnt really white. While any color can cantrip specifically asking to sacrifice permanents is strange. It's not even actually good being only a 1/1. While not every card has to be the best it can be when compared to a common that saw play this falls very short. Thraben Inspector. A...
