Re: [Poll] Is your wallet fatigued in this format?
Very much. I saw in the end most people ran only 3, but I always preferred to use all 4. About the wallet fatigue, I already own most of Modern's staples for practically every deck, so no fatigue for me. So if I need to build something new I probably need to get only 2-3 new cards per deck, or the n...

Re: [Official] State of Modern Thread (B&R 07/08/2019)
I wish I could metagame like that, but the meta at my LGS changes too much. It literally doesn't matter what I play because I could run into anything. There are a few main stays the past 3 weeks, like a Burn player, 2 Whirza, and a Tron player, but everyone else switches or don't play that week whi...

Re: [Official] "What Deck Should I Play?" Thread
So it seems 5 Color Niv is actually real. It practically has all answers you need. Would you play this in a larger tournament? My guess is that you need to know the field against you would play correctly before considering using it so you can prepare your answers accordingly (although I think its ge...

Re: [Deck] Titanshift
So unfavored against the perceived best Deck? It is not good, although what *is* favored is another matter entirely.
I guess against a fair or fair-ish meta the deck shines.

Re: [Official] "What Deck Should I Play?" Thread
I am not sure where to post this, as I see no thread about it yet, but what is people's opinions on that new 5-Color Niv Mizzet deck? Already do I have all the cards needed on account of already having almost every Modern staple. I am probable building it, but I am unsure as to which meta is best su...

Re: [Deck] Titanshift
By all means please continue to post your tournament reports. I actually enjoy reading them. I like to see how other people fare with the Decks I myself like to play. Now, as per your comment, I understand Whirza is in a category of its own, right? So, outside of it, I think Titanshift has got good ...

Re: [Deck] Jeskai Saheeli / Copycat
I have been wanting to test SFM in Copycat, too. Glad to hear you have been getting good results. I agree that this deck is at its best when Felidar has many good targets for its ability outside of Saheeli. In this case, I get the synergy with Batterskull. I guess you have your reasons, but why only...

Re: UWx Stoneblade
I think I'm personally more inclined to the first option you mention. That suits my style better, I'll go for it.
Btw, is there any place/resource where I can check how is UW Stoneblade faring right now? Like, a good place to read up tournament reports, etc.?

Re: UWx Stoneblade
Playing UW without Cryptic Command kinda scares me. It is amazing at any point in the game past turn 4.
So basically you believe that 4 Snaps + 4 SfM is all that is needed as a creature package?

Yeah, I figured as much.
So you think 4 SV is better than 2 Lands + 2 Cryptic Command? Didn't you miss Crytic at all?

Re: UWx Stoneblade
Sweet list. How did you find your plays using only 22 Lands? Did you find yourself mana screwed? I guess that is the reason why you dropped Cryptic Command altogether. A small comment. You list 4 Opt twice. I guess it is a simple mistake as the deck goes over 60 with it, but just as confirmation, wa...

Re: [Deck] Titanshift
Precisely that does it mean. I have not tried it myself (still need to get my hands on a Field of the Dead) but I imagine it is used in case you cannot finish off the opponent right away such as under a Leyline of Sanctity, opponent above 18 life, etc. At SCG Dallas Ross Merriam used it to create 14...

Re: [Deck] Azorius Control
Well, I guess it is a matter of waiting at this point. I was whether it is an auto-include in UW control and get the 4th SFM right away, or wait a small while for the hype to cool off.

I would also be interested in that Hogaakless Hogaak decklist.metalmusic_4 wrote: ↑4 years agoDo you have a link or a list on these new PW decks?

Re: [Deck] Bridgevine / Dredgevine
I'd say to use Hogaak while you can. It has actually become one of my favorite Decks ever. I find it very flavorful (as opposed to Dredge, which I find non-intuitive from a flavor point of view). I find it really delivers the "Necromancer" ideal of playing with undead creatures.

Re: [Official] "What Deck Should I Play?" Thread
This ones pretty nutty. https://twitter.com/MrRaeb/status/1161736032309710854 This actually looks pretty sick. I am even tempted to try Oath of Nissa with it. Personally, I love the Temur Moon and Grixis Green lists with W6. They seem super spicy and you get to leverage the modern legal Baleful Str...

I rather prefer combo or control playstyles, but yeah. Perhaps a crazy 4 or 5 color Zoo with W&6 could be viable.

I see. I am trying to find something which can use W&6 to its fullest.
Is Jund the only viable option then? I have no access to LotV, Tarmogoyf or some of the other Jund staples.

Re: [Deck] Titanshift
Has anyone tried Wrenn and Six in their RG Titanshift? How many copies would you include?
It does not exactly ramp per se, but it such a powerful card with relevant modes that adds another angle of attack to the Deck, I think.
