Re: Patron of the Orochi - The Cockroach Tron
Hi Rumpy. I wonder if you could commit to land combo used in Zacama, Primal Calamity . I'm talking about Sanctum of Eternity combined with Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth and haste outlet you need for Temur combo anyway. Cards like Crop Rotation and Archdruid's Charm could get you there easily and you'll...

Re: Crucible of Worlds is my Commander
I think you're too light on draw effects. In fact the only ones you use are land-based which means you have to choose between ramping and drawing which slows you down. Believe me - I tried those in Azusa and ended up removing all but War Room . Adding something as simple as Horn of Greed and/or Niss...

Re: Unreleased and New Card Discussion
Well you can always T&N for Apex Altisaur and Spearbreaker Behemoth with 1 mana open to clear a board It's 10 mana total though.

Re: Sidisi, Brood Tyrant - Zombie Horde and Shenanigans
I wonder if new Ravnica set makes a jump of Sidisi popularity and builds. There is a lot of mill and using graveyard (collect evidence, leaving graveyard triggers) stuff to work with. Conspiracy Unraveler and Sludge Titan for example.

Re: Where art thou Colossi?
Thanks but still it tickles my brain as the Colossus is like "left in a void" during milling process. There was rules errata for Madness not that far ago for discarding into exile to solve the "void zone" situation and this one is kinda similar. I know it only refers to handful o...

Where art thou Colossi?
Everybody knows Darksteel and Blighsteel Colossi have replacement effect preventing them from going into graveyard. That may be stupid (the thought not ruling) but I wonder what really happens when either Colossi gets milled? Let's look into specific scenario: 1. Player 1 casts Long-Term Plans for s...

Re: Indominus Rex
Since you discard a lot of creatures for Commander's ability then why not use cheap reanimation to bring them back? Even Living Death could be an option if Rex gets killed somehow. You could use better (more-costed) creatures as discard fodder then. The problem is that most of the cards I am discar...

Re: Greven, Predator Captain - No Pain No Gain
I think neither is worth a slot. Depending on your board you're basicaly tapping out to make Greven unblockable while this 5 mana could rather be spend for more threats/enablers/protection. I'd rather add Shinka, the Bloodsoaked Keep if you're worried about combat and/or invest in more trample outle...

Re: Sheoldred, the Apocalypse
Err... Lich's Mastery ? Anyway you should get rid of most unnecessary fat and go cheap, more staxy route supported by life-draining draw effects. Sheoldred gives some soft of inevitability but she's slow outside of using wheel effects so discarding your foes or locking them behind Contamination give...

Kroxa and Kunoros - is that combo or nombo?
I've read that Kroxa and Kunoros forms a combo with Altar of Dementia by saccing KaK in response to ETB trigger to return them from GY after milling 6. Rinse and repert. I'm in doubt because their ETB ability consist of a word "target" which means a creature to reanimate has to be targette...

Re: New Sheoldred Masters the Lich
I've found another Commander that makes good (or even better) use of Lich's Mastery to win - Queza, Augur of Agonies . Access to white gives more tutor options and blue allows to use Labman or Thassa's Oracle to win with empty library, not to mention she can kill 2 players all by herself. Anyway goi...

New Sheoldred Masters the Lich
Am I right thinking Sheoldred, the Apocalypse forms nice "little" combo with Lich's Mastery? The real question is what to do after drawing a deck and gaining arbitrary amount of life? Skirge Familiar FTW?

Re: Greven, Predator Captain - No Pain No Gain
I think that Shakedown Heavy has a place in the deck. I'll be swapping out my Azra Oddsmaker to test it out. A good call. You can stack triggers with Greven the way they benefit you most. I wonder why people use cards like Azra, Kardul or Egon in this deck. Azra seems like a bad draw engine compare...

Re: Praetors
I see everybody talking about potentialy compleated walkers but did anyone wondered how the new Elesh will look like? We will definitely get her sooner or later before things'll get complicated story-wise. Praetor's abilities we've got so far are: Vorinclex: 1. Double mana - "half" mana 2....

Yes, new Jin Gitaxias has Phyrexian subtype. I wonder why Tamiyo hasn't sińce she's compleated though. Do Planeswalkers can't have it because of some lore reasons or there is not enough room in a Type bar?

Ancient Greenwarden and Mosswort Bridge
It seems, unless I'm wrong, that Ancient Greenwarden causes Mosswort Bridge entering the battlefield trigger twice and exile two cards instead of one. If that's true, what will happen when I use MB's second activated ability? Does only one (chosen) card get played and I may play the other later? Do ...

Re: Tinybones - brewing resilient discard in EDH
I see you point but see this: You got Uba Mask or Omen Machine out and you suddenly have quite a few DEAD cards in a deck, namely all discard effects that are left. Your topdeck mode will give you these even if you don't need them anymore. But that's a flaw of playing discard anyway - if your oppone...

Re: Tinybones - brewing resilient discard in EDH
T&N is everyone's favourite Tooth and Nail which is usually infinite-combo enabler. You have no outs against infinite combos if they budge. Omen Machine is interesting card for Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir and probably for him only.

Re: Grismold, the Cheekclapper or How to Heel-Turn in EDH
I like this concept but you could capitalize more on your own tokens. Spells with convoke will make your day especially Chord of Calling and Sprout Swarm . Avenger of Zendikar is great here as Grismold creates Plants and Craterhoof Behemoth makes for a decent plan B (token overrun). Also Earthcraft ...

Re: Tinybones - brewing resilient discard in EDH
I wouldn't go with Omen Machine . It's asking for being killed by things like T&N or any big creature beatdown they find in a top. It also blocks a draw part from Tinybones which is its main selling point. I'd rather use Possessed Portal if you insist on blocking draw effects but I'd focus on us...

Re: Tinybones - brewing resilient discard in EDH
Single card discard creatures and spells are too weak to use. Do not try to capitalize of Tinybones' draw each turn, go for the most powerful discard effects instead, Mindslicer makes big reset and you're still left with 1 card off Tinybones, Vindictive Lich is army in a can and Myojin of Night's Re...
