Re: [KHM] Maro's Kaldheim Teaser
Promise you, I am not trolling here. Find it funny (peculiar, not "ha ha") that Nexus was the "new" site, leaving Salvation in the dust... YET, the up to date previews are still at Salvation. No one has posted anything new here. And then the "finance"/"market place...

Throne of Eldraine- what each card represent
So most of what we have previewed is quite obvious, we have the classic faerie tale antagonists, like the Giant Jack slayed, trolls under bridges and wicked step mothers. We also have the heroes, such Goldilocks, Robin Hood and the Beast (who loved Belle). But some are not quite obvious. I want to d...

Re: Throne of Eldraine- what each card represent
Wow... a-freakin'-mazing how no one has anything to say. The only way for Nexus to survive and thrive is if we engage each other.

Arena - mega ban list for next weeks event
First time seeing a large banning of cards for an event stated as Standard. This isn't like Nexus of Fate ... Wondering if this is because the development team for Arena may have noticed an overabundance of these particular cards dominating and commonly found among the top tier decks. Anyone catch w...

Re: Urza, Lord High Artificer - help w/ theme/build-arounds
A fun theme could be Weatherlight themed cards. Urza was the primary opponent of Yawgmoth and there are plenty of Blue cards and Artifacts from the Urza's Sage and Invasion blocks that you could make a thematic yet decently powerful Urza deck. Or you can perhaps do Clone city so that you have a gia...

Urza, Lord High Artificer - help w/ theme/build-arounds
I have already built an Urza, Lord high Artificer Commander deck, but it is all over the place. It has no direction. I went to EDH Rec, but all they show are the top cards and the decks posted w/ him. The posted decks feel very generic, no rhyme or reason explained to them. I am not looking for powe...

Eggs - Over Uneasy (The Tribe you never saw coming)
Going to troll casual games nation wide. With Arla Palani, Nest Tender , goin' Egg tribal, with a lot of humor in it (while still being a deck that can hold it own). Here's the deck: CREATURES 4 Arla Palani, Nest Tender 4 Rukh Egg 4 Roc Egg 4 Dragon Egg 4 Nesting Dragon SPELLS 4 Intangible Virtue 4 ...

Re: MtG Netflix Series Speculation.
What if the characters were voiced by film and television actors, not voice, animation or video game voice actors... just a thought. Doesn't have to be so geeky that normal Joe's won't recognize them. I think a great tribute would be actors/actresses who have a history and love for Magic: Seth Rogen...

Re: So, About the Weather...
As I'm from New England, talking about the weather is a favorite topic. It's always there and it can be depended on to be a subject that everyone can talk about, even with perfect strangers. Been hot today. Not a fan of hot weather myself. That's why I'm thinking of moving to Georgia in a couple of...

Phil Foglio art
Such a shame that 'ol Phil doesn't create art for Magic, as he was my favorite artist.
Any know what his latest work has been?
My favorite artwork from him is on the card Apathy.

Re: Please explain what "historic" means
Does this mean there will be Historic tournaments (hopefully) in Arena? Because as it stands right now, for of the tournaments/special games on Arena, only Standard sets apply (I've gotten warnings that the cards I'm about to add to a deck on Arena may not be legible for certain play).

Please explain what "historic" means
Once it is updated to this sub-forum, I will delete (or ask a mod to delete) this post...
Please explain "historic" as I am not too sure what it means in the context of here and its relation to a play format.
Thank you.

Re: Playgroup master list
Have a casual group in Orange county, California that meets for Commander and casual, kitchen-table games (which I also call "casual legacy"). We have been meeting at a Denny's in USA, California, Costa Mesa for over a decade. We are experimenting with a new location around Anaheim, Califo...

Some random questions, banners, holidays, etc...
Back at the old site there were so many sick banners that were custom made. Asking early on if anyone volunteers for making a killer banner for myself or anyone else who requests. I can send a thank you card (give me an idea of what decks you are building and I will surprise you (don't worry, card'l...

Re: Commander 2019 Speculation Thread.
At a shop tonight some dude I traded with asked me if I had heard anything about the new Commander set... so I asked him what he knew. He stared at me a sec, acted like he was about to say something, then muttered nothing. That got me curious; was he fishing for possible leaked info, or was there so...
