Re: Feather, the Redeemed - Weaponised Jankmas Incarnate

If one was to no longer be in possession of Plateau and Mox Diamond , what would you sub in? I guess I COULD run the Knight of the White Orchid d]] now.. lol. But for the Land, I'm not sure if I wanna just go 1 more Basic Plains , or run one of those new Dual TapLands (granted that'd be slow, but gi...

Re: Feather, the Redeemed - Weaponised Jankmas Incarnate

Lotta changes this time around, huh? (Also, hi, been a long time.) I agree that Sad Robot / Cartographer were kind of "win-more" on the Ramp front, those new choices aren't bad. But personally I feel like I REALLY want to squeeze that Relic of Legends in (combined w/ a Flicker Spell...

Re: Feather, the Redeemed - Weaponised Jankmas Incarnate

In my experience people just wait out the Remora until you can't pay the Upkeep anymore AND THEN they start setting up.. So I figure this at least gets you some card draw. 'xD But y'all are probably right about it not being needed in Feather.

Re: Sheldon's throwaway comment about banning wheels

I don't think exiling the cards discarded from a wheel is broken or bad in any way.. It really only hurts decks that have recursion or graveyard themes, and those already have to face graveyard hate anyway. As for the actually "broken" combos like Notion Thief/Narset/breacher, I'd say that...

Re: What mechanics would you like to see in future Commander precon decks?

Splice could be an interesting one.

@Mookie I'm the other way around, I enjoy the "sign-post" Commanders the most (especially the Morph and Cycling ones, those had me itching to build them.)

Re: Feather, the Redeemed - Weaponised Jankmas Incarnate

I basically haven't played--or been keeping up with spoilers/new cards--since the pandemic started, so I'm trying to see what new cards I should add to my deck(s).. but one quick question I have right now is, why no Esper Sentinel ? It's only 1 Mana and will likely draw you a few cards; do you feel ...

Re: Feather, the Redeemed - Weaponised Jankmas Incarnate

Honestly, I've only ever ended up using Isochron Scepter to slap removal on it.. Usually Swords , and it kinda puts a target on you/the Scepter.. But it is SO useful. lol. But yeah, it can definitely go, as even that was a corner case that needed multiple cards to assemble. Titan's Strength is what ...

Re: [Announcement] Ban List Update

@[mention]Candlemane[/mention], Aside from Mono-Colored decks, people seem to get really greedy with mana bases (I know I do, but that's mostly because I love non-Basic Lands.. My favorite card type.) Even casual players have a bunch of non-Basics, and I've even seen some casual players with NO Basi...

Re: [Announcement] Ban List Update

Paradox Engine shouldn't have been banned in my opinion; it's a 5-mana do nothing that requires other permanents in play to start doing stuff.. And if the table allowed all of that to resolve/stick around, it's on them. If anything, it hurts janky commanders that needed Paradox Engine to get extra ...

Re: Feather, the Redeemed - Weaponised Jankmas Incarnate

I'd probably end up cutting Enlightened Tutor and Isochron Scepter .. Though the Tutor still hits Aria and Reservoir, so maybe it can stay.. This [unjust] banning brings us back to the slow but inevitable value plan, instead of occasionally having some busted value.. so it's not that big of a deal, ...
