Re: Feather, the Redeemed - Weaponised Jankmas Incarnate

Is Aggro REALLY that big of a deal? I've been gone a while, so my recent Commander game experience is a bit limited as I only recently started going to games again in person, but I feel like Aggro is something one runs into fairly rarely.. (And usually it's Goblins and/or Purphoros.) As such I stil...

Re: Feather, the Redeemed - Weaponised Jankmas Incarnate

Lion Sash is the card from NEO that mosts interests me. Doesn't seem to fit with Feather's plan...but I do like to have a piece of graveyard hate in my decks. The sash can be grabbed with either recruiter, enlightened tutor, and stoneforge mystic (which I know you took out of yours). As always, tha...

Re: Feather, the Redeemed - Weaponised Jankmas Incarnate

New set! I'm going to try smoldering egg in my deck. Seems like: -cheap to cast -crazy removal. Add a shock to every spell? -another target for Sarkhan's Triumph downsides: -slow -generates lots of hate -worse than others at hitting face Everything else seems mediocre. Pump spells, ok red spells mat...

Re: Feather, the Redeemed - Weaponised Jankmas Incarnate

Gonna have to agree with Rumpy here. I ordered an Esper Sentinal and think its gonna be great in a bunch of decks...just not feather. We have so many 1-2 mana repeatable draw spells that I won't risk putting draw on the easiest creature in the world to kill. Tying draw to a creature that annoys ever...

Re: Feather, the Redeemed - Weaponised Jankmas Incarnate

wondering if Birgi, God of Storytelling could make her way in here...gaining one mana per spell is really nice. I tend to need alot more white mana than red mana tho. Goldspan seems nice as I have yet to cut smothering tithe. My play group always seems to find some way to kill my extortist or play a...

Re: Feather, the Redeemed - Weaponised Jankmas Incarnate

I was coming here to ask about your thoughts on ZNR. Just went through the whole list and had the same thoughts. Relic amulet and sejeri shelter both look ok but worse than everything else currently being run. I DO think needleverge/Pillarverge Pathway will make the cut for me, but that's it. Stonef...

Re: Feather, the Redeemed - Weaponised Jankmas Incarnate

seize the day is SO expensive to use, I think rumpy is right that the untap cards do what I want, but better. That's just for me, your build is fun monkey! The wheel angle: leng lets you discard to the top of your library. So if you have 7 cards, and your opponent wheels: you discard 7, draw 7. Leng...

Re: Feather, the Redeemed - Weaponised Jankmas Incarnate

I've been running alot more of the "feel bad" and greedy cards than you do (like your endless debate on reckless rage). I think my choices also make me a bigger threat and target on the board. You are probly correct in that being a bad thing, since it just makes you a bigger target. I'm al...

Re: Feather, the Redeemed - Weaponised Jankmas Incarnate

I just found this, and man this is a wonderful write up! I've been playing feather since it first came out, and I'm sure have hundreds of games under my belt. You've given me alot more to think about though. Dousing dagger, winding clock, mangara, phyrexian alter, and springleaf drum are all things ...
