Re: Tymna & Ikra Life loss (but mostly Life gain)

Updating my list. Altar of Bone seems like a remnant of what the deck used to be so i am taking it out for Urborg Repossession as a form of recursion. The deck seems resilent but I would like to add some additional recursion for redundancy. Also added in a few more cards to aid in the life gain stra...

Re: The Community Deck Build Project!

Nice flurry of additions over the last couple hours of my shift, let's catch up. Backdraft Hellkite and tibalt's trickery both got confirmed and the arsonist and fast/furious got cut. Birgi, God of Storytelling yay - 2 nay - 0 Mizzix's Mastery yay - 1 nay - 0 Storm-Kiln Artist yay - 0 nay - 0 Lovin...

Tymna & Ikra Life loss (but mostly Life gain)

There was a joke at my shop and probably everywhere in the magic world, "Life gain is the most aggressive thing you can do in magic" I wanted to make this true so thats what started the change in the deck. This started out as a deck from either here or another forum that was creature focus...

Re: Neyith's Fight for Survival

I played Neyith for a while, but never got it to work well in my Meta unfortunately. Thus, I switched to Tovolar for my Combat oriented deck. Nice to see Neyith is a success for others though. I'd run Tibalt's Trickery in place of Blast / Response. It's such a versatile card and catches people off ...

Renata, MonoGreen Counters

I built Renata as a place to dumb a majority of my green good stuff. I quickly found out that her ability really just already impressive cards to become even more powerful. Her power being equal to devotion means that we can do really silly and fun things with cards such as Garruk, Primal Hunter , R...

Re: Neyith's Fight for Survival

Deck has been Performing Pretty well over the past months. My current wishes for improvement for the deck is to 1) If I could find a spot for one more land I feel it would be best just to smooth out the games and the deck. 2) Find replacements for Guttural Response , Pyroblast and Tooth and Nail Bot...

Re: Grismold, the Cheekclapper or How to Heel-Turn in EDH

With the Land sweet that you have I wonder if you can fit in Field of the Dead for some extra token production. If you feel like you have too many basics you can add in some snow covered ones just to get the different names. For sort of the same reason with the surplus of fetch lands what do you thi...

Re: Kynaios & Tiro of Meletis - Landfall combo

Love the deck! It seems really solid at a glance but please let me know how it plays. Cards that i am especially interested in knowing how they perform are Faith's Reward and Geode Rager. Looking forward to hearing about the way the deck plays.

Re: Neyith's Fight for Survival

I really like this list, I am loathed to say. As a dedicated Dimir mage, such a statement hurts my soul, but I respect the built-in synergy and card advantage engine you utilize. Gruul Ragebeast is probably the most obvious exclusion from your current list, since it triggers on any ETB that occurs....

After using your shell as a basis, I did some brewing and I just wanted to hear thoughts on both Authority of the Consuls and Righteous Valkyrie.

Re: Neyith's Fight for Survival

I started putting some cards aside when I saw Neyith of the Dire Hunt but haven't got around to making a deck yet. The list I had is below and I had found First Strike and Indestructible creatures for more resilience. There is probably a bunch of double ups from your list but I'm just pasting what ...

Re: Lurrus - Lifegain Matters

I was actually looking to build a lifegain deck and had a maybe list of commanders that i was considering. Lurrus was pretty low on the list but after looking at this list I am impressed with how low to the ground and recursive the deck seems. Let me know how games go with this shell.

Deck seems very sweet. If we are still looking for creatures to up the count. Skyclave Apparition is a card that i have been impressed with. Love the deck though and can't wait to see where it ends up

Re: Most time consuming spells to resolve in the format?

I used to run The Great Aurora where ever I could though it got to the point to where i was tired of resolving the spell and so i ended up taking it out of most of my decks. Token decks with this typically take the most time followed by "What do i put into play again?"

Neyith's Fight for Survival

I have lurked on this forum for a very long time ever since the MTG Salvation days, though that was all that I did... Lurk. With this deck list I am making my first foray into giving back to the community with a deck list that is near and dear to my own heart. I present to you Neyith vs The world. T...

Re: [mtgnexus] Random Card of the Day - Teferi, Master of Time

As it was already stated, He tends to draw alot of hate but i think the amount of hate that he gets is worth the ability. Looting just so happens to be on of my favorite effects in the game and this Planeswalker does it well. The way i look at him is a loot effect that has the ability to provide som...

Re: Xenagos, God of 2x Beatdown

So, despite their similarities, Neyith is much more of a board control card than a pure aggro card. The card draw + 3 mana for a power doubling activation and the lack of granted haste changes quite a bit on how you want to approach the deck. I suspect a Neyith deck will be slower but have tons of ...
