Re: [mtgnexus] Random Card of the Day - Grenzo, Dungeon Warden
I have played Grenzo, Dungeon Warden as a commander for long time. 6 or so years ago I had the artist alter it at a GP, and he chose to alter it into Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead. Good times! And fun design space for a commander that isn't used too frequently.

Re: [mtgnexus] Random Card of the Day - Harvester of Souls
I missed Enduring Renewal day! "Back in my day", I loved combo'ing it with Aluren with creatures that care about dying. I run it in my Atog tribal deck to pump Atogatog infinitely, and I used it in a terrible legacy deck with those two and any altar for infinite mana. Regarding today's car...

Re: [BRO] Draconic Destiny
I don't feel like this is mythic material. Maybe it would be a devastating bomb in limited if it were a lesser rarity, but besides that consideration (which AFAIK isn't a concern with mythic rares), this seems not good enough for its rarity.

Re: Unreleased and New Card Discussion
Somewhat disappointed Ghost Lantern doesn't give a counter whenever any creature dies. I don't think it would be OP, the color restriction and lack of tribal bonus probably balance out the bad Corpse Churn when compared to Blade of the Bloodchief , and it would have been a slam dunk in Syrix replac...

Re: Gavi's Astral Slide War Crimes
I have a deck with similar ideas, but my commander is Zur the Enchanter
The only card I really like that isn't on your list and doesn't have black is Alhammarret's Archive. It will be a massive source of card draw, much like your Teferi's Ageless Insight (which I also run).

I'm not looking forward to seeing even more Craterhoof Behemoth, now tutorable with your commander (Rocco, Cabaretti Caterer). Yawntastic linear strategy, bleh.
Edit: and let's not forget the excitement of seeing more tutored-from-the-command-zone Purphoros, God of the Forge too! /s

Re: Unreleased and New Card Discussion
Professional Face-Breaker seems really powerful! Seems good in a number of situations: tribal human/warrior, heavy treasure synergy, or even just most mono red decks for a source of card advantage.

Re: Goblin deck, what are the must have ?
You've gotten some great suggestions so far. Some others i'd add are Skirk Prospector if you go tokens as a great source of ramp, Goblin Wardriver as a cheap anthem if you go tokens, possibly Metallic Mimic for team pump, and Legion Loyalist . Edit: Nevermind on mimc and loyalist, I had no idea they...

Re: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden - The Slot Machine of Value
Reito Sentinel - this card is extremely interesting to me, pretty confident this will be going in my list. Not sure I will be replacing the Reito Lantern as redundancy is so nice but the fact that this is flippable at 3 makes this auto-include for me. Thoughts? I'll be replacing the lantern with th...

I have a list, and there's another floating around on here, that uses a lot of pump spells with Xyris, the Writhing Storm. It's decent but not OP.

Re: [mtgnexus] Random Card of the Day - Cadaverous Bloom
Cadaverous Bloom Man, this card was in some very mean lists back in the day. I never broke down to make the deck, but many times I wanted to! For EDH purposes, I probably wouldn't play it, mostly because green has access to so much ramp already in EDH that this seems unnecessarily risky compared to...

Re: Prismatic Piper
You could probably do Sengir, the Dark Baron and The Prismatic Piper black/blue sacrifice/exploit? Then you'll get beneficial triggers for the Sacrifice ing that you're going to do, and you can add in plenty of black/blue sacrifice/exploit fodder. I guess an undercover Toxrill, the Corrosive deck!

Do you want a good deck, or a fun one?
I'm struggling to figure out a way to make it good. If you want fun, though, The Prismatic Piper's art is gorgeous, you might be able to do a Seb McKinnon tribal?

Re: [mtgnexus] Random Card of the Day - Empty the Pits
I have a GP stamped copy that I drafted in day 2 of a GP. I guess I thought that a GP stamped copy would be worth something, and there wasn't anything left in the pack that would make it into my deck. Not a good card, but worth a story I suppose!

Re: SCD - Impact Resonance
I'd probably be more inclined to run it if it could go to the face. As a purely damage-based creature removal spell. And while in a a few scenarios it can be great, there are a lot of more common scenarios, like you identified, where it's a mediocre removal spell.
