I think it's totally reasonable to be running more lords here. Varina doesn't have to be built leaning into combo so hard. Cactus Preserve is one of the best manlands we have seen in a while, but I'm not sure what it does for Karador's strategy. I guess it can do some post-wipe beats with hefty 8/8 stat line, but I am not sure that it worth the land slot here when there are so many other utility lands looking for homes...

I have played this card a lot and it always surprises people. You loop it with Hall of Heliod's Generosity in Heliod, God of the Sun and it's GGs a lot of the time.
