Re: UWx Soulherder
I wouldn't mind seeing a decklist. Also why the decision to not run any Timewarps? That card is auto win in this deck. You can instantly come back from a losing board state just by topping this.

How do you classify Bant Hoarder
It's a serious question I'm trying to figure out. On one hand it's a control deck. Uses counters, path, etc. Then at the same time it's a tempo deck. Uses reflector, detention, etc. But has a combo finish. Hoarder witness with timetwarp to get all the turns.

Beat choices are as the first reply stated in a round about way. Incidental graveyard hate is the way to go. I like playing ooze, guile, etc as an option to attack the grave if needed, but the other options are real reasons for the cards.

Looks like it could use a Dryad Arbor. Fetchable, blocks and can be brought back by wrenn in desperate times to block every turn. Pretty much perma blocker and since you have Skull it'll provide a little should the game get locked up.

Re: Tri-basic Rewarders
Could make that last one if you control 3 or more basic lands named swamp target player loses 3 life and you gain 3 life. Gets all gray merchant and rhino at the same time while fitting the theme.

Re: Spark-Eater
Don't really care for the exile all tokens clause. Feels more like exile all tokens created by ~. Would be more correct. Exiling all saporling or soldier tokens for example doesn't feel like it fits the card.

Re: My Take on a Dual Land
Or you could remove the memory clause entirely by putting something like
Tap add G or R. Skip your combat phase this turn. This ability cannot be activated if you attacked with a creature this turn.
Not functionally identical, but close and removes all the unnecessary elements.

Re: Some (Probably Bad) Land Ideas
What I was aiming for was something like a land and Mirror Entity blend. Since it's ability is x, and x is often all the lands you control it feels fitting.. White for entity green for lands matter kinda thing. Thought about isle is to make it akin to fetchlands. By the one life. But the mana invest...

I don't like Phantom Scholar the way it is. Granted it's just my opinion, however if you look at Vexing Sphinx as a guide I would suggest having the Enter the battlefield switched to a leaves the battlefield effect. Having it reference the age counters is just a plus. Like when Phantom Scholar leave...

Re: Some (Probably Bad) Land Ideas
The land ideas are nice. The vat seems like its OP. If you want it as a finisher then make the ability cost to activate it. Then I'd change it to GW. To play off the changelings. Make it like Enters the battlefield tapped. T : Add W or G . 6wg : All creatures you control are all creature types and t...
