Whenever a +1/+1 counter is put on a creature you control, remove a time counter from Arm the Troops. This ability triggers only once each turn.

Each creature you control has ward {X}, where X is the number of +1/+1 counters on that creature. (Whenever a creature with ward becomes the target of a spell or ability an opponent controls, counter it unless they pay its ward cost.)
