Preface:
Each year upon the Autumn equinox comes the harvest festival of Baanhain. Tribes from all across Annawan come together at Bailigha to celebrate, trade, and for those of age to find companions from other tribes. It is a peaceful celebration of merriment and godly praise. At the end of the festival, the Mother Goddess Maith Dannan appears in the sky to bless those who have come together under her.

Last year the Mother Goddess did not appear. The mortal tribes knew this was a dreadful omen, but only after a few days did the severity of reality appear: the Mother Goddess was nowhere to be found. Even the other Gods could not find her or call upon her. They knew they would have felt her death, but it was as if she was no longer there. War broke out across the plane, not even a month thereafter. The Sun Gods accused the Night Gods of kidnapping her. The Night Gods accused the Day Gods of being so corrupt that she abandoned them. Even further, some of each pantheon believed the mortal heretics were the true culprits and sought their destruction.

Almhara's Arrival
Almhara arrives on the plane almost a year later, in search of Heshorr. The plane has been torn by war. The gods have recently called upon the mortals to fight by their side.
