Best case without modifiers, you're looking at a +5/+5 to +6/+6 boost, which makes it roughly on par with Sword of Kaldra without the exile. At worst? Enjoy paying 7 mana to give a creature a Leonin Scimitar. With modifiers like Night Shift of the Living Dead and especially Squirrel-Powered Scheme, this can get decently large, but that's a pretty big investment for what's essentially a vanilla equipment.
