At what point do they just print a Resurrection effect at 3 mana?
User avatar
Dangerously close to old-timey reanimator spells costing one or two mana, and arguably bleed since black, the color which is supposed to be best at this, has to pay five. So, let's value Resurrection at 3½ mana. We can't print it at 3, but we can print it at 4 or 5. So, let's incentivize playing it at 4 or 5 or 6 somehow.

Resurrection, Shock, Cancel, and Craterize are still printed, essentially to teach the game because they're simple.
