I very good card. Sadly, the deck I have that would gain most benefit from this card will not play it due to the triple green in the cc.

I dunno, you can still do triple colored mana in three-color decks in EDH, especially with green's mana fixing.

While that is true, it simply hasn't got a high enough power to be worth it compared to it's abilities, while the card does have it's uses, the fact that the deck doesn't usually *cast* it's creatures, the Ape simply isn't worth it compared to many other green creatures with triple green in the cc. (It's a Mayael deck).

Well, I wouldn't use this in a reanimator deck or a token deck or any deck dependent on other forms of "cheating" creatures (Genesis Wave, Elvish Piper, etc.), but, even with the ggg mana cost, I could see myself using it in Animar. Possibly a landfall deck as well.

The problem is if you're using white, you'd better be using that landfall mode a lot to include this over Aura Shards.

I could see it in Animar, or any landfall deck with a large green component. Heck, I could even see this in a lifegain deck, as every creature spell you cast, would potentially net you life.
